We tried again

We tried again
hi,

Don't know if anyone reads this anymore. My husband and I tried a frozed DE cycle with our last to frozen embies. One didn't make it one was chugging along. I just got back the pregnancy test blood test certain it would be negative. And...it's positive BUT with a number of 34. I am not very hopeful. This kinda sucks. I wish it were a flat out negative. To contrast this number, with our daughter it was 160. Ugh.ugh. ugh. And of course they can't say no way but they also can't say this is great. I know they look for a number over 50. ugh. If anyone is reading this and has any words of support of wisdom of whatever, please share.

Still reading - thanks for posting an update. I thought frosties were a little slower than fresh embryos, so the regular rules don't necessarily apply. It's really the doubling time that matters. My fingers are crossed for you - good luck!

"this kindof sucks" sounds like the biggest understatement of the year. So sorry to hear your news. I hope for a miracle, and regardless you have my support and my thoughts are with you.

I'm sorry it's not better news. We will be in your shoes come summer. I agree, a flat-out negative would be easier...

So they took my blood again today, and the numbers have almost doubled. The nurse sounded practically optimistic when I spoke to her. Level is now 60. So Sue, please continue to keep your fingers crossed for me and Smiling please continue to keep me in your thoughts. Joy -- let's see what happens. I feel myself being happy but im not sure i'm allowed to be yet.
